Cinderella 2002

Directed by Adam Cerny

Director's Notes

The Version of "Cinderella" that you are about to see is teh funniest and most delightful version of the original Perrault story that we've seen.  It has comedy, charm, poignancy, and enchantment in just the right doeses.  This classic "rags-to-riches" plot is a treat.

The twist behind this version is that we chosen to set it in the 1980's.  At the height of crimped hair, dangly bracelets, legwarmers, and the synthesizer, "Cinderella" unfolds.  We have all seen the trendy styles, grooved tot he catchy dances, and heard the unforgettable music.  Now the 1980's arrive in full force and take the story of Cinderella to a new level that has never been experienced before.

We are very proud to present this show along with our very talented cast and crew.  As the Fairy Godmother says, "You see, a little love, a little magic!  That's all it takes!" You are invited to sit back, relax, laugh at teh subtle 1980's humor, and most importantly... Enjoy the show!
